The "myth of getting rich" of post-90 s girls: selling fake goods for more than a year to buy a house and a car

A box of counterfeit health care products, which cost only a few yuan, has been sold several times and finally sold for several hundred yuan. It is under such a black interest chain that Zhang Yang (pseudonym), a post-90 s girl, created an amazing "rich myth" with just a few mobile phones and a computer.

In just over a year, Zhang Yang bought a house and a high-end car in Changchun City, Jilin Province from scratch with the income from selling fake goods on WeChat. At the same time, she has also become an important figure in a fake health care product case involving more than 12 million yuan in 25 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) across the country.

Supported by the data of the anti-counterfeiting special team of Alibaba’s platform management department, the food and drug crime investigation detachment of Xi ‘an Public Security Bureau dispatched more than 40 police officers, which lasted for 8 months and traveled 13,000 kilometers across three provinces, successfully cracking the "6 12" case of selling counterfeit registered trademarks.

"This case has a wide range and deep penetration, and the criminals are extremely hidden and sly." During the tortuous detection process, the police investigating the case found that the two main suspects who had strung together this chain of counterfeiting and selling fakes had never met each other, and all the channels for making money quickly used the Internet and instant messaging tools.

Online shoppers report a major clue.

In June, 2016, a report aroused the vigilance of the Food and Drug Investigation Detachment of Xi ‘an Public Security Bureau: a manufacturer of a well-known health care product received a report from a consumer, saying that it had purchased a fake product of this health care product through the Internet. The manufacturer immediately inspected these goods and found them to be counterfeit.

Consumer Yang is an old customer of this health care product, and used to buy this product from regular pharmacies. This time, through WeChat, he contacted a salesperson who sold this product. Unexpectedly, the products returned from online shopping, after being taken by consumers and family members, have experienced discomfort reactions such as vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain and gastrointestinal spasm. Yang immediately contacted the manufacturer to make a complaint.

According to the information provided by the informant, the person who sold health care products to him claimed to be an employee of "Beijing Hongyuan Pharmaceutical Merchants Company", and the micro signal used for contact was also the same name. "It sounds like the operation of the company is very formal, and all the money is for me to call the company ‘ Accounting ’ There. " Yang paid more than 50 thousand yuan to the other party in three times, and then received the products sent by express delivery.

The task force was quickly established and the investigation began immediately. However, after tracing, it was found that the suspect’s purchase channel came from the network and only used a WeChat number to contact. At the same time, the source of fake goods all comes from other provinces, and there is no breakthrough in various investigation methods. The suspect also deliberately used software to disguise the relevant information. For a time, the investigation was deadlocked.

In difficult times, the task force decided to use the Taobao shop opened by the suspect as a breakthrough and contacted the anti-counterfeiting special team of Alibaba’s platform management department. Under the analysis of big data and the comprehensive judgment of the police handling the case, the approximate location of the suspect’s crime gradually became clear: the suburb of Changchun City, Jilin Province.

Wandering, playing "catch me if you can" with the police.

In the suburbs of Changchun in winter, the wind is cold. The police who went to the scene found that all the four or five addresses tracked in advance seemed to be biased — — The result of following the map and sticking to the investigation is that it has come back in vain again and again, and there seems to be nothing different in every place.

The task force launched a secret search in the county town, but the trace has never been seen. At the same time, there are new clues: through the internet, Zhang Yang bought some car accessories, which are all for high-end luxury cars, such as seat cushions, key cases and car perfume.

"This is the county seat, and there are few luxury cars. Can you find them from the car?" The police of the task force continued to touch the row. A few days later, the turnaround suddenly appeared: a white Lexus SUV was parked near a residential building. And here, just next to an address that was checked before.

This is an old-fashioned unit building. The rolling gate of Dishangtong Street has been closed. Looking through the security door in and out of the building, the target door is locked. Is this the suspect’s residence or business premises? The task force decided not to move.

In the continuous squatting, Zhang Yang appeared again. The police saw from the door of the door that there were seven or eight office stations in the house, and colorful posters of health care products were posted on the wall — — The "den" was confirmed here.

At the same time, more effective information is gathered in the task force: according to the analysis of Zhang Yang’s frequent contacts and transaction information, the source of his purchase is basically locked in Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province, thousands of miles away.

Follow the trail, the chain of making and selling fakes surfaced.

At this time, in Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province, another group of police officers has also started operations. Make public the purchase online — — Fang Lin (pseudonym) is the target of this operation. According to Fang Lin’s identity information and delivery logistics list information, a courier logistics point came into the sight of investigators.

This is a seemingly ordinary express logistics point. The first floor is used to collect, send and stay, but the stairs leading to the second floor seem to hide the secret — — From the outside, the curtains on the second floor are always closed, and the daytime is no exception. The rockery not far from the express logistics point has become a cover for investigators to stay.

For a whole week, the express logistics points collect goods during the day, and at six or seven o’clock every night, they pull the goods to the distribution point in the county and send them away in a unified way. Some yellow packing boxes sent away from the express logistics point every day have attracted the attention of investigators. These boxes have no logo, but sometimes there are dozens of them a day.

At the county distribution point, the investigators inspected these boxes and confirmed that all of them were counterfeit health care products.

Are these fakes sent by others from the express delivery point, or are they from the express logistics point? The investigators finally waited for the opportunity: on this day, the curtains on the second floor were accidentally not tightened, and the lights were on in the room. Someone was stacking the counterfeit outer packaging boxes of a well-known health care product.

At this point, a thread of counterfeiting and selling fakes clearly surfaced: production and online in Jiangxi, sales agents in Changchun — — Fang Lin of Jiangxi made fake goods and sold them to Taobao shop. Zhang Yang of Changchun looks for customers through WeChat. After finding customers, he shoots goods to Fang Lin on Taobao. The goods are sent directly to customers by Fang Lin from the express logistics point contracted by himself. The customer pays Zhang Yang, and Zhang Yang pays Fang Lin to earn the difference.

At noon on February 28, 2017, the task force "closed the net" and the suspects in both places were brought to justice at the same time.

In the dens of counterfeiting and selling fakes, the task force seized a variety of health foods with counterfeit registered trademarks, as well as a large number of packaging materials for counterfeit products, counterfeiting tools and illegally operated drugs. According to preliminary statistics, these drugs and fake health care products are sold all over 25 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities), involving more than 12 million yuan. In order to thoroughly crack down on this chain of manufacturing and selling fakes, the Ministry of Public Security requires the countries involved in the case to cooperate and fight against the whole network.

Avoid online attacks, shops disguise transactions.

"This fake transaction case was conducted through instant messaging tools such as the Internet and WeChat, which brought great difficulty to the investigation." The person in charge of the expert group told China Youth Daily and Zhongqing Online reporter.

In 2014, Fang Lin started selling counterfeit health care products through Taobao stores. He has opened four online stores in Taobao, but because of selling fakes, the stores have been handled by Taobao platform. To this end, Fang Lin disguised the baby pictures and texts in the shop, using "postage special shot" and "old customer special shot" as baby names to escape the blow. Until the end, his shop was completely closed and cleared by Taobao platform.

At the earliest, Fang Lin bought a whole box of counterfeit health care products from Zhejiang and sold them in online stores to earn the difference. In June 2015, in order to facilitate delivery, he simply rented his own storefront and opened a courier logistics point.

That is, at this time, Zhang Yang searched Fang Lin’s Taobao shop, and after purchasing a counterfeit well-known health care product and Dunaliella salina product, in the name of "Beijing Hongyuan Pharmaceutical Investment Company", he added two drugs that he contacted to the source — — Gehong Gui Long Ointment and Wangmazi Tianma Zhuifeng Ointment were sold at a higher price without the qualification of pharmaceutical business.

In October 2015, under the temptation of huge interests, Fang Lin began to purchase materials and semi-finished products himself, and then processed them twice at the logistics point, and then sold them through online stores. These goods are all sent by his own express delivery point. And publicity is his biggest customer.

Zhang Yang is well aware of these fakes — — "Because some customers have reported that there is a problem with the goods, saying that there is a color difference between the outer packaging and the original packaging, and some capsules have no filling surface." Even so, Zhang Yang is still equipped with a triplicate outbound order stamped with the official seal for these fakes. These white, yellow and red triple outbound orders were printed by Zhang Yang herself, and the "official seal" was also stamped by her own hand.

"Zhang Yang is very familiar with the health care product sales industry." According to the police investigating the case, 90% of the off-line terminals she developed are in terminal stores below counties and towns all over the country. "

In order to avoid monitoring, Zhang Yang and Fang Lin’s business used the online shopping platform to guarantee the transaction, and the money involved was Alipay. Zhang Yang’s transaction to the lower chain was almost completely transferred to WeChat platform.

To clients, Zhang Yang never tells her real name, and "Lu Yang", "Jewel Lee" and "Wang Dan" are all pseudonyms she has at her fingertips. The mobile phone cards used to contact the business are all private "black cards" from other places, and the names of the consignees are all pseudonyms, and the delivery addresses are varied. The name of "Beijing Hongyuan Pharmaceutical Investment Company" was "casually invented" by her.

Zhang Yang, who grew up in the countryside since childhood, had a difficult family economy and wanted to make money very early. Working experience in a company has enabled her to accumulate a lot of customer resources for health care products.

In the fake dens in the suburbs of Changchun, the police collected more than 100 copies of customer information recorded by Zhang Yang. After opening it, it records in detail the variety, unit price, amount, customer name, telephone number, address, and logistics number of the goods sold every day.

"The formal marketing investment of this health care product is as high as hundreds of millions of yuan. But manufacturing and selling counterfeit health care products can be said to be ‘ A book full of profits ’ 。” The police handling the case calculated the account: the cost of fake health care products is only a few yuan a box, and they are sold to the primary downline at a higher price, usually from 20 yuan to 40 yuan. When the terminal pharmacies sell them, they have reached several hundred yuan a box. Therefore, Zhang Yang’s daily sales income ranges from several thousand yuan to about ten thousand yuan.

At present, Fang Lin is about to be punished by law for allegedly selling goods with counterfeit registered trademarks and Zhang Yang for allegedly selling goods with counterfeit registered trademarks and illegal business operations.
